Everything you need to know about purchasing, receiving, saving and redeeming a DNA4X4 Digital Gift Card, including validity, remaining balances, refunds and support.
From the original date of purchase, even when saved to an account.
Issued electronically with a unique redemption code. No physical card is posted.
Use the coupon field at checkout or save the card to your account.
ABOUT THESE TERMS
Who you are buying from
These terms apply to gift cards supplied by Delta November Alpha Ltd trading as DNA4X4 (company number 16290616) through dna4x4s.co.uk. They sit alongside our general Terms & Conditions and Returns & Refunds Policy.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts statutory consumer rights.
PURCHASING AND DELIVERY
Buying a digital gift card
Gift cards are prepaid digital vouchers for eligible DNA4X4 purchases. They are not cash, a bank account, or a payment card.
Choose a gift card value
Select a value offered on the gift card product page and complete checkout using an accepted payment method. All values are in pounds sterling (GBP).
Orders are subject to successful payment, verification and acceptance. Where payment is refused or reasonably suspected to be fraudulent, issue may be delayed or declined.
Delivered electronically
Each card is issued with a unique code and delivered by email using the details provided during the order process or through the gift card delivery feature. No physical card is sent.
Please check the recipient email carefully, including spam or junk folders if delivery is not visible. Contact us if the email does not arrive.
Recipient information
Customers should provide accurate recipient details. If a mistake is made, contact us promptly. We will make reasonable efforts to assist where the purchase can be verified and the code has not already been used.
Payment and security checks
Gift cards will normally be issued after payment has been processed and the order accepted. Email or payment processing delays do not alter your statutory rights.
CARD VALIDITY
365 days to use your gift
The expiry period is calculated from the original gift card purchase date, not from its first use.
The 365-day period begins when the card is purchased.
Saving to your account does not restart or extend validity.
Any remaining balance keeps the original expiry date.
Important expiry informationUnused gift card balances cannot normally be redeemed after the 365-day validity period. Contact DNA4X4 if you believe an expiry or balance has been recorded incorrectly. We will consider any statutory rights and applicable circumstances.
REDEMPTION
Two easy ways to use your gift card
You can spend a card when you place an order or save it to an eligible registered website account for later.
Enter your gift code
- Choose your products and proceed to checkout.
- Enter your unique gift card code in the Coupon Code field.
- Apply the code to deduct the eligible amount.
- Pay any remaining amount using an available payment method.
Save it for later
Eligible customers can add their gift card to their registered DNA4X4 account, making its available balance accessible for future eligible purchases.
Adding a card to an account does not cash it out, change its owner’s statutory rights, or extend its expiry date. Keep your account login secure.
What happens if you don’t spend it all?
Eligible remaining balance stays available until expiry. For example, spending £65 from a £100 card leaves £35 for a later eligible purchase. If your basket costs more than your balance, you can pay the difference using another accepted method.
Gift card balances do not earn interest and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash, except where required by law.

Parts, accessories and adventures
Gift cards may be used for eligible goods and services supplied directly by DNA4X4, subject to applicable checkout restrictions and availability.
What your gift can go towards
- Suspension and lift kits
- Wheels, tyres and 4×4 accessories
- Recovery and winching equipment
- Vehicle protection
- Lighting and electrical upgrades
- Touring and overland equipment
- Service parts and maintenance accessories
- Eligible DNA4X4 fitting or workshop work, by prior arrangement
Where cards cannot be used
- With unrelated retailers or on separate businesses’ websites
- To purchase further gift cards, unless expressly allowed
- To withdraw cash or settle previously completed orders
- After the card’s applicable expiry date
- For unauthorised resale or commercial distribution
Other promotion or coupon restrictions will be explained with the offer or at checkout.
Workshop purchases
For fitting services or orders arranged outside the normal website checkout, please contact the DNA4X4 team before booking so we can confirm whether and how the gift card can be redeemed.
CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS
What happens if you change your mind?
Gift card purchases and goods purchased using a gift card can have different cancellation and refund rules.
Requesting cancellation
If you want to cancel a digital gift card purchase, contact us as soon as possible with your order number. Depending on the contract and how the card is supplied, statutory cancellation rights may apply.
We will assess requests according to applicable consumer legislation, including whether the gift card has been issued or redeemed. We do not apply a blanket exclusion of statutory cancellation or refund rights.
Orders paid with a gift card
Goods purchased using a gift card remain covered by our Returns & Refunds Policy and statutory consumer rights.
Where a refund is due, the gift-card-funded portion will normally be restored to the gift card or equivalent credit. Amounts paid by another method will normally be refunded appropriately to that method.
If the original gift card expires during a valid refund process, contact us. We will resolve the matter fairly and in line with applicable law.
Your statutory rights come firstNothing here removes legal remedies for faulty, misdescribed or non-conforming goods, or any applicable cancellation right. A redeemed or expired card does not automatically cancel a valid statutory refund entitlement.
SECURITY AND SUPPORT
Protecting your code and balance
Contact us quickly
Treat gift card codes as valuable. If a code is lost, deleted, stolen or shared accidentally, contact us promptly. We may ask for the order number and proof of purchase before assisting.
We may be able to recover or replace an unused card where ownership is verified. We cannot guarantee recovery of an already-redeemed balance, but this does not exclude any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
Keeping cards secure
We may temporarily suspend redemption when there are reasonable grounds to investigate fraud, theft or misuse. We will take reasonable steps to protect legitimate customers and comply with applicable law.
Problems applying a code?
Website maintenance, email delays or technical problems may occasionally affect redemption. Contact us with your order information. We will reasonably investigate valid redemption issues without limiting your statutory remedies.
Fair and transparent updates
We may revise these terms for future purchases. We will not retrospectively shorten an existing gift card’s agreed expiry or remove its agreed value through updated terms. Changes are subject to applicable law.

Customer rights and applicable law
Your legal protections remain
These terms are interpreted consistently with applicable UK consumer legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and, where relevant, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remainder continues where permitted by law.
England and Wales
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain mandatory legal protections applicable in their country of residence and any rights to bring proceedings in a court available under applicable law.
