A practical, risk-based approach

DNA4X4 is the trading name of Delta November Alpha Ltd,
registered in England and Wales under company number 16290616.

We take the security of our website, customer accounts, online orders and
personal information seriously. We use technical and organisational measures
appropriate to the information we handle and the risks involved.

No website or internet service can guarantee absolute security. We therefore
review our arrangements as our website, services and security risks change.

Website and connection security

Our website uses HTTPS encryption to help protect information transmitted
between your browser and DNA4X4.

  • Administrative access is restricted to authorised users.
  • Website software and services are maintained and updated as appropriate.
  • Proportionate monitoring and recovery arrangements are used.
  • Access to customer information is limited according to business need.

We do not publish detailed security configurations because doing so could
reduce their effectiveness.

Payment security

Online payments are processed using established third-party payment providers.
When payment information is entered through a provider’s secured payment flow,
it is handled under that provider’s security procedures.

Payment providers are responsible for applying relevant Payment Card Industry
Data Security Standard requirements to the services they provide.

DNA4X4 does not intentionally store customers’ complete card numbers or card
security codes within its WordPress or WooCommerce order records.

03 / ACCOUNTS

Customer account security

Customers are responsible for keeping their account password confidential.
We recommend using a strong, unique password that is not used for another website.

Please contact us immediately if you believe somebody has accessed your
DNA4X4 account without permission.

DNA4X4 will never ask for your account password or complete card-security
information by email, telephone, text message or social media.

04 / ACCESS

Access to information

Personal information is only made available to team members and service
providers who require it for a legitimate business purpose, such as:

  • Processing, preparing and delivering an order.
  • Taking or confirming payment.
  • Providing customer support.
  • Operating and maintaining our website.

soon as possible and, where feasible, within 72 hours.

Customer notification: Where a breach is likely to create
a high risk to an individual, we will inform the affected individual without
undue delay.

  • Do not send passwords or card-security codes by email.
  • Sign out after using a shared or public device.
  • Contact us if a message claiming to be from DNA4X4 appears suspicious.

REPORT A SECURITY CONCERN

Please tell us as soon as possible. Include the affected page, a clear
description of what you observed and your contact details.

Please do not attempt to access another person’s information, interrupt our
services or exploit a suspected issue.
